Cruising into the 50th Day of School!

We are quickly nearing the 50th day of school and we plan to do what we do best in kindergarten...CELEBRATE! We have learned so much in these short 50 days including counting to 50 by ones and tens and we want to celebrate with a trip back in time to the 1950s. In addition to counting to 50 many times, we will be doing lots of "1950s" activities including bowling, a bubble blowing contest, learning the Hand Jive & the Jitterbug, having a Sock Hop, and of course topping the day off with Coke Floats! Pictures to come soon!

"Fall-ing" in Love With Kindergarten!

It is hard to believe we are already one quarter of the way through the school year! We are looking forward to our first field trip on Oct. 24th to Guthrie Farm & Pumpkin Patch that we had to reschedule due to rain. Can't wait to get in the mud and pick our own pumpkins and feed the farm animals!

My Neglected Blog!

The last year or so has been a whirlwind and my poor blog is showing evidence of that! I had actually forgotten about my blog until I recently began following other teacher's blogs and all of the sharing and great ideas has truly gotten me excited about teaching once again! I won't promise frequent updates, but I'll do my best to keep it somewhat current.
